TMS Development Roadmap
We want to be transparent about what we're working on and what's coming next. Below is a live snapshot of everything currently planned, in progress, and shipped. This will be updated as things move forward.
🔴 Critical — Active Fixes
Pre-Computed TrueRank & Homepage Performance The browse page has known load time issues. We're moving TrueRank scoring to a background process that updates every 5 minutes, so the homepage does a single fast database query instead of computing everything on the fly for every visitor. This is our top priority fix.
Live Server Pinging Overhaul Server status checks are being fully moved to a background cron. The browse page will only ever read cached data, making it significantly faster and more stable.

Roadmap Tracker A public-facing board where you can see exactly what the dev team is working on, how far along each item is, who's on it, and when things ship. This post is the placeholder — the actual live board is coming to the site.
Server Ownership Verification We're adding a proper way for server owners to verify they own their listing, via a DNS record or server MOTD token. This unlocks advanced features and helps us keep the list clean.
Owner Trust Score — Rebuilt The Trust Score shown on owner profiles is being rebuilt from scratch using the same time-decay and Bayesian averaging methodology as TrueRank. It'll actually mean something.
Server Latency Tracking We already ping every server regularly — we're now going to store that data as a history so analytics pages can show latency trends over time, and the browse page can display a latency indicator per server.
Featured Slots Lifecycle Automation Featured slot expiry will be tracked automatically with owner notifications sent via email and Discord before a slot expires. A waitlist system is also planned.
Referral System Server owners will be able to earn featured slot days by referring new server owners to TMS. Fraud prevention is built in — rewards only trigger after a referred server's first successful ping.
Server Events Hub — Completion The events system is partially built. We're finishing the public calendar view, RSVP/interest tracking, and the owner-side event creation form.
Server Tags Owners will be able to add up to 5 tags to their listing (e.g. Economy, PvP, Roleplay, Survival). Tags will be filterable on the browse page, making it easier for players to find exactly what they're looking for.
Moderation Stats in Telemetry For servers running our Forge mod, kick and ban counts will be tracked and displayed in the analytics dashboard.
🟡 Coming Soon — Discord Bot
/serverinfo Command Look up any TMS-listed server directly from Discord. Returns a live embed with player count, TrueRank score, uptime, and votes.
/compare Command Compare two servers side by side — TrueRank, uptime, votes, vouches, and player count in one embed.
Weekly Server Spotlight Every week the bot will automatically highlight the 3 servers with the biggest TrueRank improvement over the past 7 days. A great way for smaller servers to get visibility.
Vote Streak Notifications Hit a voting milestone (7, 30, or 100 days in a row) and the bot will DM you a congratulations. Leaderboard channel posts planned too.
Verification — Auto Server Owner Role When you verify your Minecraft account through our bot, we'll automatically check if you have a TMS listing and assign you the Server Owner role in Discord if you do.
TrueRank Drop Alerts If your server's TrueRank drops significantly week over week, you'll get a DM with tips on what to improve.
