📰 TMS Update: Aethro Branding, Enhanced Voting, Vouch System, and More!

Published: December 2025

By: Aethro Development Team

TopMCServer has grown tremendously this year, and today we’re excited to roll out one of the largest updates to the platform since its launch. This new version focuses on community reputation, smoother server management, and a cleaner, more consistent experience across the TMS website and Discord ecosystem.

Below is everything that’s new, improved, and coming next.

💜 Aethro Branding Comes to TMS

You’ll start noticing a new look across TMS — especially in Discord.

Server information, voting messages, administrative tools, and user profiles now feature:

  • A unified Aethro purple theme

  • Premium-style embeds with consistent formatting

  • Updated icons, banners, and footers

  • Clearer information presentation

This isn’t just a facelift — it’s part of a long-term plan to merge Aethro’s ecosystem with TMS’s growing community tools. As we continue development, branding consistency will help unify the platform while giving it a polished, professional identity.

🗳️ Discord Voting Upgraded

Voting has been one of the most important features on TMS, and we’ve made it significantly more flexible and user-friendly:

Server owners can now enable or disable Discord voting

TMS staff and server owners can toggle whether votes can be submitted directly through their Discord server. This opens the door to communities choosing their preferred experience.

New premium vote confirmation embeds

Every vote now triggers a modern, clean, Aethro-branded embed that includes:

  • Server name

  • Voter identity

  • Direct link to the TMS page

Better cooldown messages and error feedback

The bot now clearly explains cooldown times and eligibility issues.

🌙 Monthly Automatic Vote Reset

Competition should feel fresh — so TMS now automatically resets all votes at the start of each month.

Here’s what happens every new month:

  • TMS’s backend resets vote totals on all listings

  • The TMS Discord announces the start of a new monthly ranking

  • Each server’s linked Discord receives a friendly reminder encouraging their community to vote

This automation ensures a level playing field and encourages active participation from communities.

🚀 New Server Announcements

Whenever a new server is added to TopMCServer, the TMS Discord now showcases it with a gorgeous high-impact embed:

  • Server name

  • IP and port

  • Banner or icon

  • Current status (online/offline)

  • Direct link to listing

This adds visibility to new entries and gives communities a spotlight moment on our main server.

 Introducing: The Vouch System

One of our most anticipated features is finally here — a user reputation system powered by community trust.

vouch is a way for players, server owners, developers, and community managers to endorse someone they trust or have worked with.

Vouch through Discord

Users can now vouch for others directly in Discord using:

/vouch @user [reason]

Public vouch feed

A new public channel in the TMS Discord showcases vouches as they happen, including:

  • Who vouched

  • Who received it

  • Optional reason

  • Updated total vouch count

Anti-abuse features

To protect reputation integrity:

  • Users can’t vouch for themselves

  • You can vouch for someone only once every 30 days

  • Staff can revoke vouches if needed

  • Rate-limiting prevents spam or loops

View your own vouches

Users can view their vouch history with:

/vouches

Or check another user’s reputation:

/vouches @user

Vouches will later be tied into user profiles on the website, helping build a trusted, transparent community reputation layer.

👤 Upgraded /profile and /info Commands

We’ve expanded user and server information inside Discord:

/info

Displays:

  • Server IP and port

  • Vote count and last vote date

  • Ratings and review count

  • Status

  • Banners or icons

  • Website link

/profile

Shows:

  • Username

  • Minecraft association

  • Vouch count

  • Avatar and card-style embedded design

Profiles and server cards now use the same branding system for consistency.

🔧 Administrative Improvements (transparency)

TMS staff now have access to an expanded toolkit:

New Commands:

  • /reset <id> — Reset a server’s votes

  • /suspend <id> — Suspend unapproved servers

  • /unsuspend — Bulk suspend pending servers

  • /wipevotes — Wipe votes globally

  • /linkserver — Force-link a Discord guild

  • /unlinkserver — Remove a server linkage

All admin tools now use branded embeds for clarity and logging.

🔌 Technical Improvements Behind the Scenes

The bot has undergone a complete rewrite into a modular, scalable architecture:

  • Split into separate command modules

  • Cleaner API structure

  • New webhook router

  • SQLite database cleanup

  • Better error handling and logging

  • Future-proofed for upcoming TMS features

  • Compatible with IC5’s modern API system

This dramatically improves stability, performance, and maintainability.

💬 What’s Coming Next

This update lays the foundation for several major enhancements:

🔹 Server staff roles linked automatically

🔹 User reputation badges

🔹 Fully web-integrated profiles

🔹 Premium analytics dashboard

🔹 Cross-server user verification

🔹 Creator tools for server owners

We’d love to hear your feedback as we continue to build the next generation of community tools for Minecraft servers.

❤️ Thank You

To everyone submitting feedback, and helping shape TMS — thank you.

We are building this platform together, and this update is only the beginning of what’s coming.

Stay tuned.
