Why TrueRank Exists
The problem with vote-only rankings is obvious: the top of every list is dominated by years-old servers with established communities for vote farming or those with massive incentive budgets. A genuinely great small server has almost no path to visibility.
TrueRank was designed to ensure that quality signals matter more than raw volume. A server that 500 people genuinely love should outrank a server that 5,000 people voted for once and never returned to.
The Formula
Component Deep Dive
The single most powerful component. Cast via the TMS Discord Bot by players with linked identities. This signals a personal recommendation that web votes never can. Alt-account vouching is detectable and results in removal or suspension.
Uses a weighted average star rating, not raw count. A 10-star server averages higher than 100 mixed reviews. Respond publicly to signal you care.
Measured live. Consistency over 30 days beats 100% for 20 days followed by an outage. Servers without Telemetry receive a score of 0 for this component.
Servers that pass review receive a permanent 10-point bonus. Cosmetics pass; combat gear or anything affecting balance does not. Earn it once, keep it indefinitely.
The lowest weight. The gap between 0-100 votes is massive, but the gap between 5k and 10k is almost irrelevant. 50k votes with zero vouches will still rank low.

Your rank reflects your health today
Both vouches and reviews decay linearly over 28 days. Full value on Day 0, 50% on Day 14, and zero on Day 28.
